Abstract:
To provide a foreign matter detection device, method and program with which it is possible to detect foreign matter buried in a detection object.SOLUTION: A foreign matter detection device 10 includes: a volume information acquisition unit 11 for acquiring the volume information of a detection object; an agitation processing amount calculation unit 12 for calculating, on the basis of the volume information, the necessary agitation processing amount of the detection object that is needed for foreign matter detection; a foreign matter detection unit 13 for detecting foreign matter included in the detection object; an agitation indication unit 14 for generating agitation indication information to indicate that the detection object be agitated, on the basis of the necessary agitation processing amount, when the agitation processing amount has not reached the necessary agitation processing amount; and an agitation determination unit 15 for determining the agitation state of the detection object and repeating foreign matter detection and agitation indication until the agitation processing amount reaches the necessary agitation processing amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
