To provide a foot valve drive type water saving device capable of being installed additionally or installed directly to a city water pipe while maintaining the conventional function of a water faucet device so as to open and close the water path of the water faucet device for energy saving by pressing a pedal with a foot as required by an operator.

This foot valve drive type water saving device comprises a valve main body part 10, a metal hose part 12, and a pedal part 13 fixed to the valve main body part 10 through the metal hose part 12. The device can be installed additionally on a conventional water faucet fitting, or used by installing directly to a city water pipe. Steel wire 6 is inserted into the metal hose part 12, and one end of the steel wire 6 is inserted into a packing shaft member 7-1 inside the valve main body part 10 and the other is inserted into the pedal part 13. By operating the pedal part 13, the steel wire 6 is moved up and down, and the packing shaft member 7-1 is formed so as to be moved interlockingly with the up and down movement of the steel wire.
