Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sounds caused by water hammers by placing a diaphragm valve in the flush water passage of a hot-water washing device, and actuating the diaphragm valve by means of a flush water control valve provided in an auxiliary flush water passage connected to time diaphragm valve.
SOLUTION: A mixing valve is communicated to a flush water passage by control of a switching valve, and the handle 47 of a flush water control valve 30 is pulled to raise a cylinder 45 inside a guide cylinder 33. Next, a valve element 41 is separated from a water hole 36 in a bulkhead 35 against the energizing force of a return spring 43, thus opening the passage. Then the pressure within the back chamber 20 of a diaphragm valve 11 decreases, and water pressure on the side of a main chamber 13 where the pressure of initial cold water works from an inlet part 14 becomes relatively high. Therefore, diaphragm packing 21 is swollen and deformed toward the back chamber 20 from the main chamber 13 against the energizing force of the return spring 23. As a result, the diaphragm packing 21 separates from the sheet part 18 of a valve case main chamber side part 12 to open a main outlet part 15 to communicate a passage leading to a flush water nozzle 10, thereby discharging the initial cold water.
