To provide a fluid type-mechanical type combined transmission, actualizing additional function such as the drive of an added unit in a limited cost range while adopting overdrive function in an applicable cost range, by re-improving it to further optimally meet existing working requirements while maintaining advantages in light and compact construction.
The fluid type-mechanical type combined transmission comprises a transmission input shaft E, a transmission output shaft A, a fluid type shift part 2, and a mechanical type shift part 4. The mechanical type shift part 4 has a speed/torque converter 5. The output of the device 5 is joined to the transmission output shaft A to be driven. The fluid type brake 25 is assembled in a space portion of a housing 11. A rotary blade wheel 27 of the fluid type brake 25 is connected to the output shaft A of the mechanical type speed/torque converter 5. The fluid type brake 25 which functions as a second brake is arranged at the front of a downstream stage 6 in a transmission space.
