Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid transmission device capable of reducing a rotational speed difference in a lock-up clutch.SOLUTION: A torque-converter TC includes: a converter cover 50 to which a rotational driving force from a rotational driving source is transmitted; a fluid transmission part 110 provided in the converter cover 50, and capable of transmitting the transmitted power to a turbine runner 20 via a working fluid; a lock-up clutch 40 arranged in a working fluid chamber 120, and capable of transmitting the power transmitted to the converter cover 50 to the turbine runner 20 side via a frictional engagement part 45 in which frictional surfaces 41e, 51e are frictionally engaged with each other between itself and the converter cover 50; a first projection 61 provided at a pump shell 52 of the converter cover 50, and protruding to the working fluid chamber 120; and a second projection 62 provided at a lock-up piston 41, and protruding toward the first projection 61 by opposing to the first projection 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
