Abstract:
To provide a fluid part whose crevice corrosion resistance can be improved while maintaining its other performance.
A prescribed metallic member composing a fluid part such as piping, and a valve and a joint used in a fluid control system consists of an alloy comprising, by weight, 0.001 to 0.01% C, ≤5% Si, ≤2% Mn, ≤0.03% P, ≤100 ppm S, ≤50 ppm O, 18 to 25% Cr, 15 to 25% Ni, 4.5 to 7.0% Mo, 0.5 to 3.0% Cu and 0.1 to 0.3% N, and the balance substantially Fe with the other inevitable impurities. CRI (crevice corrosion resisting index) obtained by CRI=[Cr]+4×[Mo]+30×[N] expressed by weight% is set to the range of 40≤CRI≤55 for securing crevice corrosion resistance based on the composite addition of each component in the alloy.
