Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fluid coupling which is small in difference of the tensile force required to separate male and female members between when the hydraulic pressure is applied and when it is not applied, and hardly disperse in the quality.
CONSTITUTION: A fluid coupling consists of a male member 2 having a cylindrical part 20 to be inserted and a female member 1 consisting of a female main body 1a and an inner cylinder 1b stored therein in an advancing/retractable manner, and connection is made so that the cylindrical part 20 to be inserted may be inserted in the inner cylinder 1b. Only the end side of the inner cylinder 1b is closed. The fluid flows in the cylinder from holes 10 formed in the circumferential surface. In addition, the inner cylinder 1b is provided with a locking piece integratedly or separately which is locked to the cylindrical part 20 to be inserted when the male and female members 2, 1 are connected to each other, and the parts rear of and forward of the holes 10 in the inner cylinder 1b are set to be of the same diameter, and a seal member is interposed between the parts rear of and forward of the inner cylinder 1b and the female main body 1a.
