Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method of an assembling member of a front cover of a torque converter which is simple in a manufacturing process more than before, hardly causes the deformation of a thread of a nut or the like, hardly generates a weld chip, and can prevent the occurrence of a screw malfunction of the thread of the nut or the like, and a fixing mechanism.SOLUTION: A disc circular fitting part 52a of an assembling member 52 is arranged at an outer face at the outside of a working fluid chamber at an external peripheral side of a front cover 50, and fit into a rectangular recess 51 whose apex is curved, the outer face of the disc circular fitting part is positioned at three inside side faces 51a of the rectangular recess while contacting with contact portions 53, and in a state that the assembling member is positioned and fit into the recess as above, the contact portions are fixed by laser welding, thus forming a laser weld part 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
