Title:
FIXING METAL FITTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3942340
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal fitting 20 which can be easily manufactured while avoiding reduction of a holding force even when the diameter of a hole 34 in a substrate 32 is small, and can be easily inserted into the hole 34 of the substrate 32.
SOLUTION: In a metal fitting 20 for holding and fixing an electronic component in and to a substrate 32, the fitting includes a linkage 22 held and fixed to the electronic component and legs 24 in a two-forked shape. When the fitting 20 is inserted into a hole 34 in the substrate 32, the legs 24 are overlapped. Preferably, the legs 24 have slanted surfaces 28 opposed to each other. With such slanted surfaces, the legs 24 can be easily overlapped each other.
