PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter press type dehydration device crushing a dehydrated cake into small pieces with regular shapes.SOLUTION: A filter press type dehydration device 1 includes first linear members 12a arranged mutually in parallel at a first interval in a first direction on a filtration surface of a filter frame 10, second linear members 12b arranged mutually in parallel at a second interval in a second direction different from the first direction on one filtration surface of the filtration frame, third linear members 13a arranged mutually in parallel at the first interval in the first direction on a filtration surface opposite to the filtration frame and fourth linear members 13b arranged mutually in parallel at the second interval in the second direction in the other filtration surface of the filtration frame. The first linear members and the third linear members are arranged zigzag when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the first direction, and the second linear members and the fourth linear members are arranged zigzag when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the second direction.
