To prevent deformation from occurring at a scanning portion while allowing skew by solving a problem in a conventional film winding device wherein, when an image recorded in a photo film is read while carrying and the read photo film is wound up, if the film is wound up on a core in a skewed state, the film at the scanning portion is deformed.
A winding core 101 for winding the film is rotatably supported on a movable housing (core support part) 102, and the movable housing 102 is supported on a body side housing (body part) 103 movably in the axial direction of the core 101. Also, a pressing roller 104 pressing the film 100 wound on the core 101 is installed in the movable housing 102. Thus, even if a skew occurs on the film, the film at the scanning portion is prevented from being deformed since the core is axially moved together with the movable housing 102 according to the skew of the film.
