Preceding a run of a movie, the sound data in a movie film sent to a digital signal reproducing device 11 are converted to an electric signal by a photodetector 12. The converted signal is stored in a hard disk device 15 from a film reproducing device 13 through a controller 14. The controller 14 sends a control signal to the film reproducing device 13, a motor drive circuit 17 and the hard disk device 15 based on the time code data related to the sound data together with the regenerative sound data from the film reproducing device 13 to control them. Further, a sound signal is sent from the controller 14 to a speaker 19. Since the sound data stored in the hard disk device 15 not the sound data from the movie film are read out successively at a real run time, the sound with the high tone quality is reproduced always independently of the number of run times without precise constitution.
