Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic molded part whose mechanical properties, particularly,compressive strength at high temperature is improved without causing the increase of weight and deterioration in moldability.SOLUTION: At first, a starting material made of an aliphatic thermoplastic resin in which reinforcing fiber is melted is molded into a molded body. This molded body is irradiated with radiation. In this way, a three-dimensional cross-linking structure is formed at the aliphatic thermoplastic resin. Namely, a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic molded part in which the aliphatic thermoplastic resin as the base material is made of a cross-linked body can be obtained.
