Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the productivity and avoid even the degeneration of a thermosetting resin by setting the particle diameter of a granulated material formed from a raw material mixed with a specific filler to a specific value or less and using a specific thermally deformed and melted substance as a binder to hold the shape of a granule.
CONSTITUTION: A granulated material is produced from a raw material 1 prepared by mixing a fiber selected form an inorg. fiber, an org. fiber and a metal fiber, a rubber powder, a thermosetting resin powder and an org. inorg. filler and has a particle diameter of 0.1-3.0mm and the thermally deformed and melted substance of the rubber powder and the thermosetting resin powder becomes a binder to hold the shape of a granule. The granulated material is produced by pressing the charged raw material 1 by a tumbling roller 2 to extrude the same from the extrusion orifices 4 of an extrusion plate 3 and cutting the extrudates into a specific length by a chopper 5 so as to make cutting length almost same to the size of each extrusion orifice 4. By this constitution, the average particle diameter of the obtained granulated material 6 becomes almost the same to the size of each extrusion orifice.
