To provide a fiber composite useful for adsorbing and removing various chemical materials existing in a liquid such as water and a gas such as air.
A fiber composite includes ion exchange fibers, and the ion exchange fiber includes: a polymer A obtained by introducing an ion-exchanging substitutional group to 100 pts.wt. of an acrylic polymer produced by polymerizing a monomer composition which contains 30 wt.% or more of acrylonitrile in 100 wt.% of the monomer composition; and a polymer B obtained by introducing an ion-exchanging substitutional group to a polymer which contains 1 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of an epoxy group with respect to 100 pts.wt. of the acrylic polymer. Both the ion-exchanging substitutional groups are derived from one or more amine compounds, the ion-exchanging substitutional groups being introduced by reactions with the one or more amine compounds.
