Abstract:
To provide a fastening device capable of improving fastening strength while avoiding a decrease in manufacturability of a fastening body, and to provide a manufacturing method of a fastening body using the same.SOLUTION: A fastening device as a fastening device for fastening first and second metal plates 1, 2 overlapped each other includes: an actuator 3; a punch 4 reciprocated by the actuator 3; a die 5 arranged oppositely to the punch 4, and provided so as to allow the first and second metal plates 1, 2 to be pushed in with the punch 4 for fastening; a load measuring device 7 for measuring load applied to the first and second metal plates 1, 2 by the punch 4; and a controller 8 controlling the movement of the punch 4 via the actuator 3. The controller 8 monitors load measured by the load measuring device 7 and a position of the punch 4 when moving the punch 4 toward the die 5 for fastening, and determines a stroke amount of the punch 4 according to the position of the punch 4, where the load starts to be increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
