Abstract:
To provide an improved fastener which overcomes defects of a well-known nail-shaped fastener and a screw-shaped fastener.SOLUTION: A fastener 20a is equipped with a head portion 22, a shaft portion 26, and a tip end portion 24. The shaft portion is connected to the head portion, and is extended to a tip end portion in a longitudinal axis. The shaft portion has a shaft portion upper part 32, a shaft portion lower part 36, and a transition zone 34a. The shaft portion upper part is at a position adjacent to the head portion. The shaft portion lower part is separated from the shaft portion upper part, and is disposed adjacent to a tip end portion. The transition zone is disposed in a longitudinal direction between the shaft portion upper part and the shaft portion lower part. The transition zone is separated in the longitudinal direction by a predetermined distance from the head portion. The predetermined distance corresponds to the thickness of a first construction member so as to position the transition zone in the same row with a joint line between the first construction member and a second construction member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
