Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener having a superior durability against shearing load and a fastening structure for metal plate using the fastener.SOLUTION: This invention discloses a fastener 10 for use in fastening two or more metallic plates 1, 2 having fastening openings 1a, 2a under their overlapped state. The fastener 10 comprises: a first support body 14 integral with a bolt 11; a shearing load receiving body 13 having a bolt insertion hole 13a for passing the bolt 11; and a second support body 15 also acting as a nut 12 engaged in thread with the bolt 11. The shearing load receiving body 13 can be arranged in the fastening openings 1a, 2a for the two or more metallic plates to be fastened and at the same time has a thickness corresponding to a total thickness of the two or more metallic plates 1, 2. Each of the first and second support bodies 14, 15 can be contacted with outer surfaces 1b, 2b of two or more metallic plates under a state in which the shearing load receiving body 13 is held between them.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
