Abstract:
To provide a fall prevention metal fitting capable of safely and rapidly performing the work when attaching fall prevention metal fittings such as split pins and snap pins to the tip of other members such as bolts without the need of tools, and eliminating human errors.SOLUTION: A fall prevention metal fitting 1 that is inserted into an insertion hole 16 of a bolt 15 and deforms a portion protruding from the insertion hole 16 to prevent the bolt 15 from coming off, comprises an insertion pin 2 and a pull-out pin 3 where tips 11 and 13 are joined together. The insertion pin 2 includes: a head 6 that prevents the movement when inserted into the insertion hole 16; a locking part 4 protruding from the insertion hole 16; and an insertion part 5 that remains in the insertion hole 16. The locking part 4 is formed with fragile parts 9, 10, 10, and 11, and inserted through the insertion hole 16 together with the insertion pin 2, and then the pull-out pin 3 is pulled out to bend and deform the locking part 4 of the insertion pin 2 to thereby prevent the bolt 15 from coming out of the insertion hole 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
