Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent that a lock nut attached to a shaft is fallen.SOLUTION: A fall prevention mechanism comprises: a lock nut 40 which is screwed to one end side rather than a portion to which a flange 32 of a propeller shaft 20 is attached, and has a caulking part 41 which can be caulked to the propeller shaft 20 side; and the propeller shaft 20 which is arranged at one end side rather than the portion to which the flange 32 is attached, and has a screw groove to which the lock nut 40 is screwed, and a caulking groove part 24 to which the caulking part 41 is caulked and fastened. The caulking groove part 24 has a first groove part 25 formed of a first face 26 and a second face 28 which are formed so as to form acute angles in a cross section of a face vertical to an axial center O of the propeller shaft 20, and the first face 26 and the second face 28 extend to a side opposite to a loosening direction L in which the lock nut 40 is loosened with respect to a line for connecting the axial center O and an apex 27 of the first groove part 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
