To provide a fall prevention tool having improved impact force resistance capable of preventing a fixture such as a road lighting fixture from falling, and a fall prevention structure for a lighting fixture.SOLUTION: A fall prevention tool 3 includes a pair of ring parts 30 to be fixed to a fixture and a support part respectively, and a first wire part 31 and a second wire part 32 for connecting the pair of ring parts 30 respectively. The pair of ring parts 30 are formed by bending two spots between a first tip and a second tip of one wire rod 33 respectively. Since the first tip and the second tip are fixed so as not to be separated, the one wire rod 33 forms the pair of ring parts 30, the first wire part 31, and the second wire part 32. In an installation state, a length L2 in the state that the second wire part 32 is stretched is longer than the length L2 in the state that the first wire part 31 is stretched. When a load is applied, the wire rod 33 is supplied from the second wire part 32 to the first wire part 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
