Abstract:
To provide an exhaust valve having a vacuum break function which can avoid size enlargement or complication of a configuration.SOLUTION: A flow-in port 31 of an automatic exhaust valve 1 is connected in communication with liquid piping (not illustrated), and water and air flow into a fundamental valve chamber 61 in an arrow 91 direction through the flow-in port 31 from the liquid piping. A float 10 is arranged in the fundamental valve chamber 61 so as to be free to float, and it floats or descends in accordance with a level of water in the fundamental valve chamber 61 to repeat valve-opening and valve-closing, appropriately discharging air in the liquid piping. When a part of the fundamental valve chamber 61 and the liquid piping has assumed a vacuum state, an auxiliary valve body 21 of a vacuum break valve 20 is moved in an arrow 93 direction by a pressure difference between the fundamental valve chamber 61 and the outside to open a ventilation port 29, allowing outside air to flow into the fundamental valve chamber 61 to eliminate the vacuum state. By provision of the vacuum break valve 20 at a cover part 40, size enlargement and complication of a configuration can be avoided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
