To provide an exhaust gas treatment method which is capable of preventing the clogging of a dust collecting filter and of reducing the discharge of dioxins in an exhaust gas treatment employing the high temperature dust collector equipped with a dust collecting filter and to provide a system therefor.
In the exhaust gas treatment system which removes toxic substances such as dioxins and the like included in the exhaust gas, the system is provided with heat treatment equipment 10 to conduct a heat treatment such as incineration to a waste product, the high temperature dust collector 20 to conduct the filtration dust collection of flying ash by passing the exhaust gas discharged from the high temperature dust collection equipment through the dust collection filter, a boiler 21 to recover heat from the exhaust gas discharged from the high temperature dust collector, a low temperature dust collector 23 to which the exhaust gas having the temperature dropped by the boiler is introduced. The system is characterized in that the exhaust gas temperature at the exit side of the high temperature dust collector 20 is in a temperature range of 500-1,000°C and supplies a buffer 30 comprised of powder of the high melting point substance using silica and alumina as main components to the exhaust gas at the upper stream side of the high temperature dust collector 20.
