Abstract:

To solve the problem that, when exhaust gas is cooled for effectively collecting dust in the exhaust gas of high temperature in such a case as charging a converter molten iron by pouring water, dust in the exhaust gas is deposited and accumulated on its downstream.

In the dust collection method for exhaust gas for effectively collecting dust, 50-500g of water particles whose mean mist particle size is 500 μm or smaller are discharged per 1Nm3volume of exhaust gas to collect dust, thereby preventing dust from depositing, and furthermore to discharge water into piping when the temperature of the exhaust gas rises to 600°C or higher.
