Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an elevator without rope slip even at emergency stop.
CONSTITUTION: For attaining the above-mentioned purpose, a winding machine is provided with a brake device 20 having braking force energizating means 26A, 26B and a braking force releasing means 27, and in an elevator constituted so that an elevator cage is elevatably moved with a rope wound on the driving sheave of this winding machine, a braking force reducing means 28 to reduce the braking force due to the braking force energizating means 26A, 26B of the above-mentioned brake device 20 is provided.
