To prevent grease from entering an electromagnetic braking mechanism from reduction gear side without generating mechanical loss caused by contact resistance.
An electromagnetic clutch and braking equipment 30 comprises, an electromagnetic clutch mechanism 32 shifting transmission of rotation of an input shaft 31 to an output shaft 33 and disconnection thereof, and the electromagnetic braking mechanism 34 braking rotation of the output shaft 33, which are arranged within a mono-case 35. The output shaft 33 is supported in a freely rotatable manner via two annular ball bearings 38c, 38d by a stationary portion of the case 35 including the electromagnetic braking mechanism 34. The ball bearing 38c, 38d are press-fitted into an inside of a coil assembling body 39 at a brake side to be bound thereto and thereby outside peripheries of the ball bearings are sealed. On the other hand, an O-ring is intervened between the output shaft 33 and the ball bearing 38d of an output side, so that an inside periphery of the ball bearing 38d is sealed.
