Abstract:
To provide an electroless plated aluminum alloy member which uses a high silicon based aluminum alloy as a base material and has excellent sliding characteristics, and to provide its production method.
The surface of an aluminum alloy base material 1 containing, by mass, 10 to 30% Si is formed with an anodized layer 2 with a thickness of 0.5 to 3.0 μm by anodizing treatment. After that, zincate treatment is performed to form a zinc layer 3 so as to bury the recessed parts 2a in the anodized layer 2. Further, an Ni-B electroless plated layer 4 with a thickness of ≥2.0 μm is formed. In the formation of the anodized layer 2, an sulfuric acid bath with a sulfuric acid concentration of 200 to 280 g/l is used.
