PURPOSE: To provide an electric power unit capable of being easily assembled and replaced in a lump by receiving a plurality of storage batteries, a motor driving circuit and a charging device in a case to interconnect the respective apparatus through a plate board.
CONSTITUTION: This motorcycle 1 mounts thereon an electric power unit 8 to receive a power source like a storage battery in a main frame 3 for supplying electric power and a power transmitting unit 9 to convert electric energy supplied from the electric power unit 8 to the mechanical movement by an electric motor 7 and transmit it to rear wheels. The electric power unit 8 has a battery power source 12 receiving a plurality of storage batteries 11 in case opening above, a charging device 13 and motor driving circuit 14 and is mounted on an apoximately central low position of a main frame 3 of a body 2 to be replaced in a lump. These power apparatus 12-14 are provided to cover the whole upper surface of the case 10 and connected to each other when a plate board 15 provided with a plurality of sockets is attached.
