Abstract:
To provide an electric actuator that does not require control for matching phases between a transmitting mechanism side that transmits driving force from a motor to a ball screw and a braking mechanism side that stops driving the ball screw due to a reverse input.SOLUTION: An electric actuator includes: a cylindrical surface 41 that integrally rotates concentrically with a drive gear 33; an engagement surface 47; a cam surface 42 of a stationary portion 46 that is stationary; a holder 44 that holds a roller 43 between the cylindrical surface 41 and the cam surface 42; armature 48 whose rotation is stopped by the holder 44; and an electromagnetic clutch 50. The armature 48 always faces the engagement surface 47, and the electromagnetic clutch 50 switches between a connection state of the armature 48 and the engagement surface 47 and a release state of releasing it. In the connection state, the holder 44 rotates by torque from the drive gear side 33 and the roller 43 can engage with the cylindrical surface 41 and the cam surface 42, but in the release state, the phase of the holder 44 is maintained by a neutral spring 45, and the roller 43 is prevented from engaging with the cylindrical surface 41 and the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
