Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric actuator which is light-weight, compact, and reliable.SOLUTION: An electric actuator 1 includes: an electric motor part A; a motion conversion mechanism part B; and a housing 8 which houses these parts and has a cylindrical shape with a closed bottom. The motion conversion mechanism part B has: a nut 92 which receives rotary motion of a rotor 52 of the electric motor part A to rotate; and a ball screw shaft 93 which moves forward and rearward in an axial direction in conjunction with rotation of the nut 92. Load reduction means M for reducing an axial load acting on an inner bottom surface of a bottom part of the housing 8 is disposed in a torque transmission path between the rotor 52 and the nut 92. As the load reduction means M, for example, a torque limiter 7 formed by a friction clutch is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
