Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eddy current reduction gear capable of suppressing the generation of a braking force in a rotor in a non-braking state.SOLUTION: A reduction gear comprises: a rotor fixed to a rotational axis; a plurality of permanent magnets which are opposite to the rotor with a gap, and are arranged around the rotational axis; a plurality of pole pieces which are provided in the gap between the rotor and the plurality of permanent magnets, and are arranged around the rotational axis; a stator that supports the plurality of permanent magnets and the plurality of pole pieces so that a positional relationship around the rotational axis with the plurality of permanent magnets and the plurality of pole pieces is changed; and a driving part that is connected to any one of the plurality of permanent magnets and the plurality of pole pieces, and switches the positional relationship around the rotational axis of the plurality of permanent magnets and the plurality of pole to/from a breaking state and a non-breaking state. The positional relationship around the rotational axis with the plurality of permanent magnets and the plurality of pole pieces includes a play.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
