To suppress a contact of knuckle with a dust cover of a ball joint.SOLUTION: A dust cover 12 is used for a ball joint comprising: a ball stud having an axis portion with a flange portion formed thereon; and a socket supporting the ball stud. The dust cover 12 includes: a body portion 53 positioned between a portion to be fixed 51 and a seal portion 52; and a connection portion 54 positioned between the body portion 53 and the seal portion 52. The body portion 53 includes a first portion 531, a second portion 532, and a third portion 533 between the first and second portions. The third portion 533 projects toward the axis portion with respect to the first portion 531 and the second portion 532. An inner circumferential surface of the connection portion 54 includes: a first annular difference-in-level portion 541 including a first difference-in-level surface S1 facing the outer circumferential surface of the flange portion and a first base surface F1 crossing with the first difference-in-level surface S1; and a second annular difference-in-level portion 542 including a second difference-in-level surface S2 projecting from the first base surface F1 and a second base surface F2 crossing with the second difference-in-level surface S2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
