Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the dust depositing on a filter body from being solidified and to obviate the deterioration of the filter body due to the SO3 and alkali metal compd. in a dust-contg. gas.
CONSTITUTION: A group of filter bodies 22 are placed in the vessel 21 having a dust-contg. gas inlet port 24 and a cleaned gas outlet duct 27, the dust-contg. gas is supplied to the inside of the filter body 22 from the inlet port 24, and the cleaned gas is discharged from the outside of the filter body 22 and introduced into the duct 27. The powder 19 of alkaline-earth metal carbonate is passed through a disperser 16 from a hopper 13, introduced into the inlet hole 24, dispersed and deposited on the inner face of the filter body 22. Meanwhile, a dispersing plate 17 is provided at the lower part of the vessel 21, and the deposited powder 19 is fluidized by the air from an air source 18a and stuck to the inner face of the filter body 22 though the plate. Further, an afterburner is furnished on the upstream side of the inlet port 24 to heat the inside of the dust collector above the dew point of the dust-contg. gas.
