Abstract:
To provide a dust collector which can perform good dust collection in a grinding work and a welding work with one unit.SOLUTION: A dust collector comprises: a dust collector body 1 having an air suction and exhaust mechanism; a front opening part 2 which is provided on a front surface of the dust collector body 1 and can suck powder dusts containing fire powders; and a fire extinguishment mechanism for extinguishing the fire powders sucked from the front opening part 2. The dust collector has: a shell 4 for local suction of which a base end side is connected to the dust collector body 1 and on a tip side of which a tip opening part 3 having an opening area smaller than that of the front opening part 2 is provided, and can adjust and hold a position of the tip opening part 3 within a prescribed range; and a common filter mechanism 5 which collects the powder dusts sucked by the front opening part 2 and the tip opening part 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
