Abstract:
To obtain a novel structure drum brake which can reduce a cost and a time and labor necessary for the assembling, the exchange or the like of a part necessary for energizing, for example, a brake shoe toward a backing plate.SOLUTION: A drum brake comprises, for example: a backing plate which is arranged in a posture intersecting with a vehicle width direction; a brake shoe which is movably arranged along an outer face of the backing plate in the vehicle width direction; a drive mechanism for moving the brake shoe between a non-braked position apart from an internal peripheral face of a drum and a braked position contacting with the internal peripheral face; an energization member for energizing the brake shoe to the inside of the vehicle width direction; a support member for supporting the energization member from the outside of the vehicle width direction; and a fixing member having an attached part to which the support member can be attached from the outside of the vehicle width direction in a state that the brake shoe is mounted to the backing plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
