To provide a drum brake which improves workability for connecting the top end of a brake cable to an other end of a lever member as compared with a conventional one and prevents a connection pin from falling off of the connected lever member from a connection hole without increasing the number of parts of an actuating and expanding device.

The other end 56b of the lever member 56 is rotated around a support shaft 54 to get into contact with a connection part 52e of a body 52, whereby the connection hole 56c at the other end 56b of the lever member 56 is exposed due to a recess 52g of a first side wall 52c and the top end of the brake cable 58 can be connected thereto with visual observation of the connection hole 56c. Moreover, in the state that the lever member 56 is rotated and gets into contact with the connection part 52e after the connection, even when the connection pin 64 is about to fall off the connection holes 56c, 58d and 58e due to its own weight of the connection pin 64, a protrusion 52h of a first side wall 52d gets into contact with the connection pin 64 and prevents the connection pin 64 from falling off the connection holes 56c, 58d and 58e.
