Abstract:
To provide a drum brake that improves workability of hanging a locking portion of a brake cable to a hook portion of a brake lever, while a brake shoe and the brake lever are attached to the drum brake.
While the brake shoes 18, 20, the brake lever 48 and shoe hold down devices 44, 46 are attached to the drum brake 10, a worker: performs visual confirmation of a guide face 48i of a guide portion 48h; hangs the locking portion 54 of the brake cable 50 to the guide face 48i; thereby makes the guide portion 48h guide the locking portion 54 to the hook portion 48; and thus hangs the locking portion 54 of the brake cable 50 to the hook portion 48d of the brake lever 48.
