Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum brake for a vehicle which allows the easy connection of a parking brake cable and an expansion device by a simple constitution which is reduced in the number of part items, and can prevent the come-off of the parking brake cable from the expansion device.SOLUTION: A lever member-side guide part 90 is formed at a lever member 82, a strut member-side guide part 100 is formed at a strut member 84, and the strut member-side guide part 100 comprises: a first guide part 102 which is formed in a position which becomes smaller than an interval D2 for allowing the passage of the lever member 82 and an interval lock member 62, and guides the parking brake cable to a direction in which a distance from a connecting pin 80 becomes long as separating from the packing plate 16; and a second guide part 104 which guides the parking brake cable to a direction in which the distance from the connecting pin 80 becomes short as separating from the packing plate 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
