Abstract:
To provide a drum brake device allowing installation of a strut assembly while placing a brake shoe on a back plate.
The drum brake device with a one shot type shoe clearance automatic adjusting device has a structure allowing the strut assembly 20 to be installed from a brake drum side in the axle direction. A floating restricting means is provided for restricting floating of the strut assembly 20. The floating restricting means is a shoe return spring 16. The floating restricting means restricts floating of the strut assembly 20 by abutting one side of a strut body 21 against a shoe web 11a of the brake shoe 11.
