A drum brake device 100 comprises a parking lever 37 inset and rotatably connected to a web 5b of one brake shoe 5 by inserting thereof, and a strut 39 installed between the other brake shoe and the parking lever 37. In the support pin 35, a large diameter shaft part inserted into a hole of the parking lever 37, and formed at the central part is brought in contact with lever surface. and a pin tip end part projected passing through the hole is flatly crushed so as to form the parking lever assembly 51 fixed to the parking lever 37. A pin rear end part 35a is inserted into the web 5b to connect the web 5b and the parking lever 37. The parking lever assembly 51 and an edge of the web 5b are preferably fitted into the recess of the strut 39.
