A control unit 10 for a navigation apparatus 1 determines a target lane which own vehicle approaches, determines the travelling state of vehicles in the target lane and at the same time, determines whether or not the vehicle with the possibility of approaching the target lane exists from a position except the travelling lane in which own vehicle travels. Then, guiding information according to vehicles in the target lane and vehicles in positions except the target lane is set.
