Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission mechanism capable of suppressing or preventing a malfunction of a drive object which is driven by a driving force of a driving source, and a recording device.SOLUTION: A driving force transmission mechanism includes: a first gear which can rotate in a first direction and in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and transmits a driving force to a first drive object when rotating in the second direction by receiving the driving force from a driving source; a second gear which can relatively rotate with respect to the first gear, transmits the driving force to a second drive object by rotating in the first direction together with the first gear by receiving the driving force from the first gear in the case where the first gear rotates in the first direction, and idles with respect to the first gear in the case where the first gear rotates in the second direction; and a shaft for receiving the first gear and the second gear individually along an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
