Abstract:
To provide a driving device that prevents the entry of dust or the like into a cylinder with a simple configuration, and to provide a granular material treatment apparatus including the same.
In an air cylinder 22 included in an opening and closing mechanism part of a pneumatic transportation system, a piston rod 26 inserted into the cylinder 25 to freely advance and retreat therein includes a spacer section E longer than a stroke distance D of the piston rod 26, between a pollution section P arranged in a casing 21 of the opening and closing mechanism part at a retreat position and an in-and-out section S which is moved in and out with respect to the cylinder 25.
