Abstract:
To discharge drainage quickly when a discharge flow quantity of a drain trap is insufficient at the start of the operation.SOLUTION: A drain discharge system 1 includes: a supply pipe 2 through which steam is supplied to a steam using device S; a discharge pipe 3 through which drainage generated by condensation of steam in the steam using device S is discharged; a drain trap 4 provided at the discharge pipe 3 and having a drainage discharge hole; and a large amount discharge mechanism 30 having a valve chamber provided with a large amount discharge hole 33 of the drainage which has a hole diameter larger than that of the discharge hole, and a valve body 31 which is housed in the valve chamber and opens or closes the large amount discharge hole 33. The large amount discharge mechanism 30 is provided at the supply pipe 2 and has a spring 34 which deforms to displace the valve body 31 from a valve opening state to a valve closing state when a pressure in the valve chamber rises to a predetermined valve closing pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
