Abstract:
To provide a position detection device of an engagement clutch which can detect both the engageable timing of a first engagement member and a second engagement member and an engagement finish state of the first engagement member and the second engagement member by using the same magnetism detection element.SOLUTION: A position detection device 40 is arranged outside a first engagement member 11 and a second engagement member 12 in a radial direction DR2 with an axis as a center. The position detection device 40 comprises a first magnet 41, a second magnet 42, a first yoke 43, a second yoke 44 and a magnetism detection element 46. The first yoke 43 and the second yoke 44 are aligned in a direction along a rotation direction. An end face 43b of the first yoke 43 and an end face 44b of the second yoke 44 face a plurality of first gear teeth 13 and a plurality of second gear teeth 14 in the radial direction in a released state. The magnetism detection element 46 is arranged between the first yoke 43 and the second yoke 44, and outputs a sensor signal indicating the magnet flux intensity of a magnet flux in the radial direction DR2 which passes between the first yoke 43 and the second yoke 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
