PURPOSE: To convey workpieces so as to distribute them from one labyrinth to a plurality of labyrinths at one time elevating operation of a lifter.

CONSTITUTION: Workpieces W1, W2 are arranged in an introduction chute 12. Then, a lifter 17 is elevated so as to set the workpieces W1, W2 on loading beds 18, 18, and thereafter, the workpieces are raised above the chute 12 while workpiece receivers 21, 22 are turned upward. Thereafter, the lifter 17 is lowered so that the workpiece W1 is received by the receiver 21 and is then conveyed along an upper stage delivery chute 20, and further, the workpiece W2 is received by the receiver 22 and is then conveyed along a lower stage delivery chute 19.
