Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that prevents abnormalities in display from occurring in association with rise in temperature of a display member.SOLUTION: A head-up display device comprises: a plate-like display member 21 including a display surface 21a emitting display light corresponding to an image; and a transparent member 22 bonded to the display surface 21a of the display member 21 through a transparent adhesive 24. The transparent member 22 is made of a material, for example a glass material, having a thermal conductivity lower than that of crystal. Further, in a temperature rise time in which temperature rise in the display member 21 due to addition of a heat amount to the display member 21 is anticipated, an entire heat capacity obtained by combination of the display member 21 and the transparent member 22 is set so that a temperature of the display member 21 becomes less than a heat-resistant temperature in which an abnormality in display of the display member 21 is anticipated. Furthermore, a heat resistance in a direction of a surface along the display surface 21a, in a configuration in which the display member 21 and the transparent member 22 are bonded, is set so as to be less than a heat resistance of the display member 21 on which the transparent member 22 is not bonded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
