Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp capable of being adapted to a light source apparatus having a function for cooling a lamp.SOLUTION: A discharge lamp has a first member that is provided to face an end portion on one side in a first direction of a glass member with a light emitting part. The first member includes: a flange part; and a shaft member which is provided on an opposite side to the glass member with respect to the flange part in the first direction and which has an outer shape in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction smaller than the outer shape of the flange part in the second direction. The shaft member includes a fluid path passing through the inside of the shaft member. The fluid path is communicated with a first opening and a second opening which are provided in the surface of the shaft member at different positions in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
