To provide a digital camera having a voice recording function and a voice reproducing function so as to attain downsizing a set comprising a microphone and a speaker and decrease the number of components and the manufacturing cost.

The digital camera is provided with: a sound guide tube 8 placed along the thickness direction of the camera in the camera and led to a front part of the camera while being communicatively connected to a rear part of the camera; a recording section for recording a voice signal; and a current sound converter 11 placed near the rear face of the camera of the sound guide tube 8 in a way of traversing the sound guide tube 8. In recording voice, since the sound guide tube 8 collects sound in front of the camera and is communicated to the rear part of the camera, the sound guide tube 8 collects the sound behind the camera. The current sound converter 11 converts the sound collected by the sound guide tube 8 into a current to produce a sound signal, which is recorded by the recording section. The sound signal recorded by the recording section is converted into the current by the current sound converter 11 and reproduced as sound and outputted. The reproduced sound is emitted behind the camera and also emitted in front of the camera through the sound guide tube 8.
