An error detecting part 121 detects an error rate S in an error correcting part 103, and when the error rate S is not higher than a reference value Sth that can be regarded as a satisfactory receiving state, a power limiting circuit 123 reduces feeding power to a high frequency part 101 to reduce power consumption. Even if the receiving sensitivity of the high frequency part 101 lowers by reducing the feeding power to the high frequency part 101 at that time, a satisfactory receiving state can be maintained while the error rate S is not higher than the reference value Sth. Meanwhile, when the error rate S is higher than the reference value Sth, a receiving state is determined to be poor, the reduction of feeding power to the high frequency part 101 by the power limiting circuit 123 is released to improve the receiving sensitivity of the high frequency part 101, then, a satisfactory receiving state is secured.
